The small helicopter companion "Witty" carried by NASA's Perseverance Mars rover was successfully separated by Perseverance earlier and landed on the surface of Mars. The charging and system inspection will take about a week, so the first flight is tentatively scheduled for April 11th in the United States. The first "flight" is only expected to take about 30 seconds, and the goal is to hover at an altitude of about 3 meters. If it goes well, NASA expects to fly up to 4 more times, gradually increasing the duration to 90 seconds, and flying to the farthest distance of about 50 meters from Perseverance.
